Actor
Daniele Monachella, born of a Sardinian mother and a Sicilian father, is an “unandredpersent islander.” He was trained, among others, with C. Leonardi, E. Gallot Lavalleè, J. Sinisterra, F. Manetti, L. Crawford, G. De Monticelli, Gioele Dix, M. Monetta, and Peter Clough. He studied at the Experimental Centre of Cinematography with a scholarship and CTA dubbing in Milan. He has participated in various TV series, including “L’isola di Pietro 2,” “Questo nostro amore 80,” “ll bello delle donne,” “Solo per amore,” “I segreti di Borgo Larici,” “Il peccato e la vergogna,” “Mia madre,” “Squadra antimafia 3,” and “Sangue caldo.” On the big screen, he has worked under the direction of Di Biagio in “Andarevia,” of Marco Amenta in “Anna” and “Tra le onde,” of Sergio Scavio in “La guerra di Cesare,” and of Marisa Vallone in “La terra delle donne.” He has worked as a dubber in “Sons of Anarchy,” directed by Luca Ward Moncherino, and by Yuval Senegal in the “Frauda” series. He was the voice actor of “Viaggio nella storia” on Radio1 Rai, and he works with Rai Sardegna; he is the author of the transmission “Aburottu” in the Sassarese dialect. With Audible and for Emons, he has produced the audiobook Un anno sull’Altipiano. He has directed and starred as Aronne in the Sardinian language play, Titu Andronicu. He has won the best leading actor award in Roma Comic Off2018 with the original play Era l’Allodola?.
