Claudia Lanteri
Author
Claudia Lanteri was born in Caltanissetta, where her parents founded a theatre company and passed on to her their passion for stories from a very young age. After graduating in Lettere Moderne (Italian Literature) at the University of Palermo, she pursued her studies in Rome and obtained a Master’s degree in Art Management at Luiss Business School. She lived in London for five years, working as an artworker and web designer with different businesses in the field of fashion, theatre, cooking and sports. Since 2015, she has returned to Sicily, where she has worked as a consultant in the field of strategic communication and digital innovation, combining her humanistic education with the visual skills she strengthened abroad. Driven by a desire to write more fiction and less editorial plans, she sought a part-time job in a bookstore that would give her the time she needed while indulging her love of books. She has published short stories for several magazines (“Snaporaz”, “Malgrado le mosche”, “Micorrize”). L’isola e il tempo is her first novel.
